June has historically been a celebratory month. We celebrate the start of summer (and the Summer Solstice). We celebrate Pride in honor of the LGBTQ+ community, and observe Juneteenth in honor of the African-American community. We celebrate our Dads on Father's Day, while many families celebrate their Grads through various graduation ceremonies. And for many other families still, there will be a celebration of buying a new home as June is historically the most active month for home sales of the year. This year, many of these celebrations will be taking place in person for the first time in almost a year and a half, as California is set to lift all Covid restrictions on June 15th; itself a cause for celebration! Whatever the reason this month, I wish you and your family a wonderful, happy, and healthy June! |
